Bathroom
A leak from the upstairs bathroom in the Children’s Home part of the building occurred during lockdown.
All the downstairs bathroom fittings needed replacing. A firm quotation of £5000 was accepted and a reputable firm was appointed to carry out the work. The bathroom project was our main fundraising priority going into 2023.Thanks to the generosity of supporters and sponsors, the new downstairs bathroom and the two toilets and shower room upstairs were completed during the year.
Play Equipment
The outdoor play equipment at the Nursery was in need of some refurbishment. A team from the UK visited Lert Sa Wat in August 2023 and re-painted the outdoor equipment as one of the aims of the trip.
Sponsorship
As of November 2023, 8 children who needed a sponsor have been allocated one.
